Rose moved to Florida from Canada in 1990. She has worked for Dr. Russo since 2000 and enjoys helping the patients with their sometimes complex treatment plans. Rose is married with 2 grown sons, two beautiful grandaughters – Marlowe and Zelda, a grandson – Lucas, and 2 cats – Sassy and Sofie. She enjoys boating and time with friends on weekends.
Karen was born and raised in Nebraska and has lived in Sarasota for 27 years. She began working with Dr. Russo in 1997. Karen is very detail oriented and very much enjoys getting to know our friendly patients. One of Karen's favorite things to do is foster cats and is very involved in church with her friends.
Yami Tellez, Surgical Assistant, has been a surgical assistant for nine years, moved from New York to the paradise of Sarasota in 2018. She has two beautiful kids, a son and a daughter. In her free time, she enjoys working out and yoga. She has a passion for helping patients. Her idea of a perfect day starts with a cup of coffee and ends with ice cream.
Lisa Bartley, Receptionist, originally from New York but has lived in Florida for over thirty years. Has worked in a family-owned restaurant for her entire life. Lisa is a certified dental assistant but is currently working as a receptionist. She is married to Chris and has four Pomeranians. Lisa loves spending time with family.
Sabrina is a Florida native and graduate of State College of Florida, class of 2009 with an Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene. Sabrina has a passion for learning and keeping up to date with dental hygiene techniques, including becoming certified in local anesthesia in 2013. Her passion is educating patients on the importance of the connection of oral health and overall health as well as giving personalized care in a comfortable, stress free way. She was also an adjunct clinical instructor at State College of Florida from 2013 until 2017.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, and two daughters.
Jeffa grew up in Pennsylvania and West Virginia, moving to Florida in 1996. Dentistry has been her passion for over 24 years! She started as a dental assistant then becoming a dental hygienist, certified to give local anesthesia. She is also an adjunct clincial instructor and board member for the Dental Hygiene Program at SCF. Jeffa and her husband Joe,enjoy world travel, aviation,medieval history and being in nature with their rescue pup!
Dr. Russo is the Past President of the Southern Academy of Periodontology.
